From early childhood all the way to Emmy nominated
Cinematography, Marlon Lawe has continued on a path of amazing locations and
stunning images.
With a camera always on hand, he
constantly explores new methods of filming, stays in tune with cutting edge
equipment and is on top of innovative visual tools.
As a student of The High School of Art and Design in New York, Marlon was chosen from a select few to
enroll into their esteemed media program where he focused on photography and
film studies. Upon graduation, he continued his journey as an artist and
storyteller. This led Marlon to Cinematography and has evolved quite naturally
into Directing.
As President and CEO of “Shoot N Edit” Production Company,
Marlon is proud to have produced events for large corporations since his company’s
existence. Some of the companies
that have utilized his talents are HBO, Showtime, Spike TV, ESPN, Oxygen Media,
Nickelodeon, and various other leading media outlets.
In 2006, Marlon was nominated for an ‘Emmy’ Award for his cinematography for
the Tribecca Film Festival Winner, “Riker’s High”, which was later released as
a Showtime Documentary.
What makes Marlon a unique Cinematographer, Producer, and
Director is that he works closely with his clients to carefully assess their
individual project goals…With gentle guidance he is able to help clients fully
realize their aspirations and bring their concepts to reality. “Shoot N Edit”
was formed out of the desire to deliver high quality, affordable and creative
production management to the media market place.
